Oil-protein diet

Budwig therapy – Omega-3 fatty acids

This therapy is a diet that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. These unsaturated fatty acids cannot be produced by our body and occur mainly in oily fish (mackerel, salmon). In the highest concentration, however, it occurs in a vegetable oil, known as linseed oil.

Already in the last century, the chemist Dr. Johanna Budwig has pointed out that the flax plant as a supplier of valuable omega-3 fatty acids has many positive effects on the organism and that it is a valuable instrument for the general improvement of well-being and maintaining good health.

In addition, she has used, due to their research results, linseed oil and linseed in combination with Quark (a type of cottage cheese) as a cancer diet and had thus very good results with her treated cancer patients.
Their observations and their extensive studies only recently found worldwide attention because of the study of omega-3 fatty acids. Many research projects and studies have now clearly shown that omega-3 fatty acids contribute significantly to staying healthy and vital and counteracting or healing many diseases.

Linseed oil contains significantly more omega-3 fatty acids than fish. It also contains numerous other health important ingredients that scientific research has recorded only in recent years. Linseed oil appears far more valuable than the flax plant compared to fish.
First and foremost are phenolic substances in linseed oil (phytochemicals) that have the ability to protect our body cells from negative effects of free radicals. Also, so called lignans that are similar to estrogen in their ingredients and effects are included in linseed oil. They can play an important role with respect to the slowing of aging processes and provide added protection against cancer.
Other studies have indicated that linseed oil can have various other positive effects concerning health. Essential bodily functions are strengthened. Thus, the use of linseed oil is both prophylactically and therapeutically recommended.

Why are omega-3 fatty acids good?

• blocking the growth of cancer tumors
• regulation of hormonal functions
• lower cholesterol (LDL) and increase in HDL cholesterol
• expansion of blood vessels and prevent arteriosclerosis
• prevention of stroke and heart attack
• regulation of blood pressure
• Improved cellular respiration
• Improved cell metabolism
• Improved oxygen supply to the organs
• Increased efficiency
• protection against infectious diseases
• Inhibition of inflammation
• formation of endogenous defense cells
• Increased resistance

Treatment with omega-3 fatty acids by Budwig can help to treat:

• cancer: colon cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer

For whom such therapy is useful?

It is useful for all people who suffer from the above-mentioned diseases or symptoms in this area.

Are there any side effects?

There are no known side effects, as long as the appropriate for you daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids is not exceeded. When this happens, it can cause bloating or diarrhea.

Are there any contraindications?

If you suffer from a disease in which blood clotting is disturbed, this therapy should only be used in consultation with a doctor as omega-3 fatty acids alter the flow properties of blood. In the case of liver or bile problems, this therapy is normally not recommended.
Whether this form of therapy is right for you, we’ll find out in person after an extensive investigation.
